29 Candidates Confirmed in a Spirit-Filled Service at ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea, Mwaweni

It was a day of great joy and spiritual renewal at ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea, Mwaweni, as 29 candidates were confirmed in a powerful service led by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Alphonse Mwaro Baya.

The Bishop, accompanied by clergy, family members, and the congregation, presided over the Confirmation service with deep reverence and celebration. In his sermon, Bishop Baya emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast in faith and living out the Gospel in everyday life.

He passionately urged the newly confirmed candidates to continue the work of God by helping the needy, visiting the sick, preaching the Gospel, reaching out to prisoners, and participating in environmental stewardship by planting trees — especially during the current rainy season.

"Your confirmation today is not the end but a new beginning," Bishop Baya told the candidates. "You are called to be the light of Christ in the world, serving others and nurturing the creation God entrusted to us."

The service was marked by moments of prayer, worship, and thanksgiving as families and friends gathered to support and celebrate with the candidates. The event also served as a reminder to all believers of their calling to live active, faith-filled lives dedicated to service, compassion, and love.

ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea continues to grow as a beacon of hope and faith within the Mwaweni community, fostering a spirit of service and discipleship among its members.

We congratulate the 29 candidates and pray that they will continue to walk faithfully in their journey with Christ!
